WxNotify is a service that sends notifications for all types of weather phenomena, in addition to law enforcement and governmental alerts.

Subscribers may create alerts based on what information they want to be alerted for, the locations for where subscribers want to be notified, when they want to be alerted, and finally how they want to be alerted. (Email, Pushover, Slack, etc.)

The service takes care of figuring out which subscribers should be notified when a matching alert is issued.
