Issue during maintenance caused a service outage

During a regularly-scheduled maintenance window this morning, an issue caused an extended service outage. The outage was between 11:05 CT and 11:55 CT. During this time, the front-end dashboard was down and no alerts were sent out. Fortunately, this outage occurred during a time of little to no severe weather, so the impact was very low. The root cause of this issue was found and fixed.
